Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sandee Gorgrip!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jalen Mortimer!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorgrip tries to clinch but Mortimer is having none of it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mortimer! But no joy.
Mortimer throws a good cross that connects.
Gorgrip tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mortimer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gorgrip tries to clinch but Mortimer moves out of range.
Nice body kick from Mortimer.
Gorgrip on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mortimer keeps the fight on the outside.
Mortimer gets caught napping as Gorgrip dives in and scores a takedown. Mortimer manages to retain guard.
Gorgrip is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gorgrip is looking to stand up but Mortimer won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gorgrip would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Gorgrip misses with a takedown
and Mortimer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mortimer lands a big uppercut and Gorgrip crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Gorgrip looks OK. Mortimer waves Gorgrip back to his feet!
Mortimer throws a quick head kick that knocks Gorgrip silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Mortimer is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jalen Mortimer!
An out of breath and clearly excited Jalen Mortimer thanked Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
Sandee Gorgrip was interviewed post fight and said 'He is a very good fighter. I will come back stronger next time you see me'.
