Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Neil Diaz (ranked 2103 p4p, 37 weight class) and Juanito Cortez (ranked 3475 p4p, 55 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cortez's choice of entrance music: $$$. Cortez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Neil Diaz could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Juanito Cortez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez walks into a big right hand from Diaz and goes down! The referee sends Diaz to a neutral corner as Cortez gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
It looks like Juanito Cortez has been cut.
Diaz knocks out Cortez with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Diaz before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Diaz picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Neil Diaz!
Neil Diaz decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Juanito Cortez spoke after the fight, saying 'Well...shit happens....i will b back!'.
