Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Ryu Takemura (ranked 6939 p4p, 522 weight class) and Gary Saxton (ranked 23988 p4p, 564 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryu Takemura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gary Saxton! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saxton swings widly with a right hand
enabling Takemura to counter with a crisp jab. Saxton looks to land a left hand but Takemura moved out of range nicely. Takemura swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Saxton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Takemura counters with a one-two to the body. Saxton throws a leg kick that is checked and Takemura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Gary Saxton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saxton throws a left and a right that both miss
and Takemura counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Saxton rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Takemura connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Saxton misses with a double jab.
Saxton throws a hook to the side of Takemura's head but Takemura sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Saxton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
This has been an exciting period of action! No joy there for Takemura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Saxton is looking for the big counter here. Saxton clobbers Takemura with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Saxton throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Takemura counters with a stiff right hand. Takemura throws a left and a right that both miss
and Saxton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Saxton misses with a left hand and Takemura counters with a stiff right hand.
Saxton is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Saxton swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Takemura counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Saxton thinking. Takemura wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Takemura lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Saxton is still on wobbly legs! Can Takemura finish him? Saxton closes the distance looking to clinch and Takemura counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Saxton to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Ryu Takemura! Ryu Takemura made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I'd kill him if the referee let me..'.
