Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kronos Doomsday!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yancy Camacho!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camacho wants to clinch up but Doomsday keeps it at a distance.
Camacho tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Doomsday paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doomsday looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Camacho dives in for a single leg takedown but Doomsday sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Doomsday throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Camacho tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Doomsday is in Camacho's guard.
Camacho is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Doomsday dives into side control.
Camacho is looking to regain half guard here but Doomsday keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doomsday is looking for a kimura but Camacho is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Doomsday to get the leverage.

Camacho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Doomsday. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Doomsday shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Camacho's guard.

Doomsday wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Camacho uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Camacho wants to hit a switch here but Doomsday passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Camacho there!

Doomsday takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Camacho closes the distance and clinches up with Doomsday, looking for a takedown. Camacho pushes Doomsday against the cage but Doomsday circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kronos Doomsday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yancy Camacho.

Horrible takedown attempt by Camacho or perhaps it was just good defense by Doomsday, which made it look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Camacho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Camacho wanted to stand there but Doomsday had control of the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Doomsday, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
