Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chok Delarock (ranked 4775 p4p, 237 weight class) and Theodore Nouveau (ranked 4175 p4p, 218 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chok Delarock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Theodore Nouveau!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nouveau tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Delarock paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nouveau has a takedown stuffed.
Delarock checks the leg kick.
Nouveau with a lazy takedown attempt
and Delarock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Delarock throws a combination. Nouveau tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nouveau shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Delarock sprawls well. Delarock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nouveau gets slowly back to his feet.
Chok Delarock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Theodore Nouveau.
Delarock looks to land a combination but Nouveau avoids it well.
Sloppy strikes from Delarock. Those never looked like landing.
Nouveau let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delarock tries to score with a low kick but Nouveau moves his leg out of the way.
Delarock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nouveau fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Delarock is looking for a counter combo.

Delarock throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nouveau cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Good standup being displayed there by Delarock as he connects with a hook.
Delarock scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nouveau slips under a jab.
Nouveau looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nouveau uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Delarock.
Nouveau darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Nouveau seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Nouveau stands up out of the half guard.
A low kick from Nouveau misses
and Delarock counters with a three punch combo that has Nouveau backing up. Nouveau nods at Delarock to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nouveau goes for a double leg but Delarock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Delarock continues to drive forward.
Delarock scores with a jab to the body.
Delarock throws a body punch but Nouveau moves out of range.
Delarock looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nouveau misses with a double jab.
Nouveau gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Delarock lands a takedown into guard.
Delarock with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Delarock is looking to work some ground and pound but Nouveau has wrist control.
Delarock postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Nouveau looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Delarock landing with the ground and pound.
Nouveau is looking to cinch up a triangle. Delarock throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nouveau's body to avoid the submission. Nouveau has instead reached around Delarock's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nouveau arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
