Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Obi Wan Kenobi (ranked 1547 p4p, 94 weight class) and Theodore Nouveau (ranked 3057 p4p, 164 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nouveau misses with a takedown

and Kenobi counters with a crisp right hand that drops Nouveau! Kenobi lets Nouveau back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Nouveau is rocked!

It looks like Theodore Nouveau has been cut.
Kenobi is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Nouveau is still on wobbly legs! Can Kenobi finish him?
Kenobi lands a body shot.
Theodore Nouveau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nouveau wants to clinch but Kenobi slips to the side

and Kenobi counters with a nice right hand that sends Nouveau toppling to the canvas! Nouveau scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kenobi finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nouveau shoots in for a double leg but Kenobi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kenobi throws a quick counter head kick but Nouveau was just out of range.
Kenobi lands a nice looking body kick.
Kenobi lunges at Nouveau with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nouveau's hand.
Nouveau shoots in for a takedown but Kenobi shows good takedown defense.
Kenobi looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Obi Wan Kenobi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Theodore Nouveau.
Kenobi drops Nouveau with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Nouveau! Kenobi dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Obi Wan Kenobi!
