In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 21 wins and 7 losses; David Morrison Jr.! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Gauthier Delisle!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and William Gold.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Delisle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Delisle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Morrison Jr. won't allow Delisle to pass to mount.
Delisle is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Delisle seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Morrison Jr. is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Delisle has managed to escape the submission attempt.

I really don't envy Delisle right now.
Delisle is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Morrison Jr. off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Delisle is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Morrison Jr. has latched onto it... Big trouble! Morrison Jr. pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Delisle is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Morrison Jr.!
