The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Tau throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Doom was covering up waiting for the punch and Tau finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Tau (2) vs (0) Doom
Tau thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tau drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tau seems to have locked his on tight now - Doom screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tau, as he picks up the win!
