Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rauta Kansleri (ranked 1139 p4p, 171 weight class) and Alka Mangrove (ranked 1905 p4p, 251 weight class). In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Rauta Kansleri! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Alka Mangrove! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Mangrove forces Kansleri back against the cage and clinches. Mangrove drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kansleri stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mangrove swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kansleri trying to control but Mangrove is working from the bottom. Mangrove has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kansleri has passed into side control.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kansleri can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mangrove got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kansleri has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mangrove has managed to get both his arms back between Kansleri's legs - danger averted. Mangrove sitting in guard here, content to control. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kansleri doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kansleri manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Mangrove looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mangrove bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kansleri's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Kansleri (7) vs (12) Mangrove Kansleri will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kansleri is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position.
