The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Yaj there as he acknowledges the shot.
Yaj lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Rockwell looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Yaj is looking to counter with a body kick.
Rockwell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Yaj looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rockwell takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Rockwell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rockwell takes a swing at Yaj's ribcage but misses.
Yaj fires out a quick counter leg kick but Rockwell just manages to avoid it.
Rockwell defending well as Yaj loads up on a big left hand.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rockwell .

Yaj throws a leg kick which misses Rockwell 's front leg but catches the back leg as Rockwell tries to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yaj bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The crowd cheers as Rockwell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yaj doesn't seem phased though.

and Yaj counters with a good, hard body kick but Rockwell shrugs it off.

and Rockwell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yaj tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yaj tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rockwell was well out of range. Poor timing from Yaj.
Rockwell throws a hook to the side of Yaj's head but Yaj sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Yaj appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Rockwell blocks a head kick by Yaj.
Yaj tries a head kick but it misses.

A jab from Rockwell finds it's way through Yaj's defenses.
Rockwell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yaj.

Rockwell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Yaj counters with a nice body shot.
A slapping body kick lands there for Yaj.
Yaj walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rockwell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rockwell shapes to counter with a head kick.
Rockwell avoids the head kick by Yaj.
Rockwell cracks a nice hook into Yaj's ribs.

Rockwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yaj was well out of range. Poor timing from Rockwell .
Elliot Rockwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rockwell on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Yaj thows a leg kick but Rockwell checks it
enabling Rockwell to counter with a crisp jab.
Oh Yaj is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A slow jab from Yaj misses its intended target.
Rockwell is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Yaj had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Rockwell scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Yaj looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
