Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Erik Ris (ranked 6195 p4p, 440 weight class) and Sukalem Hasangjekaj (ranked 25028 p4p, 485 weight class). Sukalem Hasangjekaj will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Erik Ris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sukalem Hasangjekaj! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ris drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ris sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hasangjekaj's guard. Ground and pound from Ris. Ris works his way into side control. Ris trying to control the action but Hasangjekaj is working from the bottom. Hasangjekaj is trying to escape the position but Ris is controlling the position. Ris's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Ris is trying to get an arm triangle but Hasangjekaj is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ris has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ris takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hasangjekaj misses with a series of wild punches.
Hasangjekaj feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Hasangjekaj misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hasangjekaj throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ris tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hasangjekaj is in Ris's guard. Hasangjekaj stopping the sweep attempt from Ris. Ris pulls Hasangjekaj in close to his closed guard and prevents Hasangjekaj from doing any damage or advancing position. Further stalling from Ris.
That's two minutes gone in the round. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Ris is stinking the place up with his stalling. Ris throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hasangjekaj must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ris keeping moving, preventing Hasangjekaj from controlling successfully. Ris seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasangjekaj working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ris's head. Hasangjekaj trying to control the position from guard on top but Ris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ris is on top in guard.
Ris trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ris passes Hasangjekaj's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ris controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ris takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Ris looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Hasangjekaj is trying to maintain the position but Ris is very close to passing his half guard. Ris passes to side control. Ris working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hasangjekaj really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ris taking a breather here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jan Erik Ris dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hasangjekaj rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ris moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hasangjekaj throws a series of punches but Ris moves out of range. Hasangjekaj fails to land with a series of punches.

Ris passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hasangjekaj! Ris is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hasangjekaj to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hasangjekaj shrugs it off. Hasangjekaj keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Ris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hasangjekaj is looking to escape. Hasangjekaj is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ris tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ris lands a heavy elbow. Hasangjekaj is looking to get to half guard. Ris is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hasangjekaj can do to turn this around? Hasangjekaj is trying to stand up. Hasangjekaj is looking to improve his position but Ris isn't that keen on the idea. Hasangjekaj is breathing heavily. Hasangjekaj has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Ris has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Hasangjekaj is defending well but eventually Ris manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Hasangjekaj has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
