Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danis fails with the takedown
and Man makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Danis dives in for a single leg takedown but Man sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Man shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Danis is trying to defend but Man finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Danis on the ground.
Danis tries to roll over but Man keeps him under control.
Danis regains full guard. Nicely done.
Danis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Man is in close to Danis's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Danis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Danis is trying to control the position but Man postures up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Man on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Man tries to get out of the position.

Man is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Danis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Danis is trying to work for a kimura but Man is defending well.
Man is staying active underneath Danis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Danis in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Man tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Danis!
