Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Orndorf (ranked 1731 p4p, 221 weight class) and Deviante Russell (ranked 1183 p4p, 166 weight class). Orndorf's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Wrecking Ball - Andrew Baena. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orndorf missing with a left hand there. Russell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Russell working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Orndorf looking to hit a scissor sweep but Russell is one step ahead there.

Russell is pushing down on Orndorf's leg trying to pass to half guard. Orndorf is fighting to maintain full guard but Russell has managed to sneak the leg through.
Orndorf is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Russell pulls his head out easily.
Russell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Orndorf with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Russell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Orndorf swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
