The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Hoya swinging wilding here.
De La Hoya misses with a few strikes there.
A lazy left from De La Hoya finds it's target.
It looks like Robertson Silver has been cut.
Silver tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silver lands a high kick!
Silver tries to clinch but De La Hoya is having none of it.
De La Hoya swats away the attempt to clinch by Silver.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but De La Hoya paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Silver stuffs the takedown.
De La Hoya drops Silver with a nice combination! De La Hoya dives into Silver's guard, looking to finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
De La Hoya is looking to stand up but Silver won't let him.

De La Hoya has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silver to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! De La Hoya is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silver pulls down on the head and he's put De La Hoya to sleep! This one is all over!
