Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Texas (ranked 1955 p4p, 207 weight class) and Thimothy Weenus (ranked 3136 p4p, 288 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Texas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thimothy Weenus! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weenus ducks under a wild hook from Texas. Texas drives through with a takedown into guard. Texas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Weenus dives on top into guard. Weenus slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Texas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Weenus defends well. Texas has his foot on Weenus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Weenus works his way back into a safe position though. That's one minute gone in the round. Weenus's corner is telling him to maintain position. Weenus throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Texas looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Weenus has picked Texas up and slammed him! Texas can't keep hold of the triangle and Weenus manages to pass to side control! Texas is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Poseidon MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Texas manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Weenus tries to roll over but Texas keeps him under control. Texas is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Weenus still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Weenus has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Weenus is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Texas has escaped the position, nice work there. Texas regains half guard. Texas actively working from the bottom here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Texas is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Weenus pulls his head out easily. Texas is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weenus throwing shots but Texas is blocking nicely. Weenus content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Weenus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Texas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Weenus. Weenus tries to pass the half guard into mount. Texas knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Texas actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Thimothy Weenus will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

enabling Weenus to counter with a crisp jab. Weenus rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Weenus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Texas misses with an uppercut
and Weenus counters with a lovely straight right hand! Weenus circles away from the clinch attempt.
Weenus lands with an overhand left. Texas misses with a hook. Weenus ducked under it nicely. Texas wants to clinch and Weenus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weenus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Texas throws out the jab. Weenus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Texas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Weenus's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Texas drops back looking for a leg! Weenus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Weenus manages to kick Texas off! Texas jumps back into Weenus's guard. Weenus is looking for a triangle but Texas pushes his legs off easily.
Texas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Texas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Texas is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Weenus is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Weenus has escaped and now he's on top!
Weenus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Weenus is looking to work some ground and pound but Texas has wrist control. Weenus advances to half guard. Texas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Weenus seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Weenus seems to be working for a kimura but Texas defends the submission attempt. Weenus is looking for a kimura but Texas is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Weenus to get the leverage. Texas looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Thimothy Weenus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Weenus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ryan Texas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Texas throws a lazy uppercut
and Weenus counters with a nice uppercut. Texas misses with an uppercut
and Weenus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Texas is rocked! Weenus fakes the body blow, causing Texas to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Texas goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

A very excited looking Thimothy Weenus made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
