Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Craig Jordan (ranked 3947 p4p, 392 weight class) and Rubber McBendy (ranked 5701 p4p, 487 weight class). Craig Jordan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rubber McBendy!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jordan throws a half hearted mid kick.
McBendy moves into the clinch successfully.
Jordan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down McBendy.
I was talking to Jordan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Jordan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McBendy is looking to clinch.
McBendy gets caught napping as Jordan dives in and scores a takedown. McBendy manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McBendy is adopting a defensive guard.
Jordan distracts McBendy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jordan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McBendy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McBendy moves in looking to clinch but Jordan pushes him off.
Jordan lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Jordan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McBendy tries for a takedown but Jordan circles away easily
and Jordan counters with a straight right hand.
Jordan tries to score a power double leg takedown but McBendy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jordan somewhat.
McBendy shoots in but Jordan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Craig Jordan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rubber McBendy.

and Jordan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jordan.

McBendy has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jordan has passed into side control.
McBendy seems a little lost for a moment, as Jordan dominates the positioning.
McBendy wants to control but Jordan postures up.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jordan connects with a nice short shot to McBendy's temple.
McBendy wants to sweep but Jordan has passed to side control!

Jordan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McBendy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McBendy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
McBendy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jordan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McBendy has managed to get both his arms back between Jordan's legs - danger averted.

McBendy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
McBendy wants to get up but he can't break Jordan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jordan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McBendy shoots in for a takedown but Jordan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McBendy moves out of range as Jordan throws a body kick.
Jordan forces McBendy back against the cage and clinches.
Jordan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McBendy feints and as Jordan raises his hands in defense, McBendy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jordan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McBendy dives into side control.
McBendy looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Jordan is avoiding damage well.
McBendy is trying to move to mount but Jordan reverses beautifully and ends up in McBendy's guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
McBendy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jordan sprawls well. Jordan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McBendy gets slowly back to his feet.

Jordan decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
McBendy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Jordan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McBendy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McBendy is looking to get back to his feet here but Jordan is keeping cool and he's managed to take McBendy's back.

Jordan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McBendy manages to get himself to full guard.
