Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts comes to the cage accompanied by Vet. John McClaine is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Roberts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John McClaine!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts misses with a looping right.
McClaine uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Roberts.
McClaine circles away from the clinch attempt.
McClaine darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
McClaine drops an elbow to the side of Roberts's head.
McClaine works his way into full mount!
Roberts is looking to improve his position but McClaine isn't that keen on the idea.
Roberts is bucking up trying to escape but McClaine cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Roberts can't escape the position.
Roberts sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
McClaine trying to pass the guard but Roberts defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McClaine is looking for a kimura but Roberts is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McClaine to get the leverage.
McClaine in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Roberts tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from McClaine!
