Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jermaine Fizzelstiks (ranked 6042 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jethro Boudreaux (ranked 6775 p4p, 0 weight class). Boudreaux has chosen Zombie Barricades as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Jermaine Fizzelstiks! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Jethro Boudreaux! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Boudreaux tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fizzelstiks swivels and escapes. Boudreaux fails with a takedown attempt. Fizzelstiks wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Fizzelstiks keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jermaine Fizzelstiks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jethro Boudreaux. Fizzelstiks tries to clinch up. Fizzelstiks swats away the attempt to clinch by Boudreaux. Boudreaux rushes Fizzelstiks and presses him up against the cage. Fizzelstiks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boudreaux is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boudreaux is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fizzelstiks is defending well. Boudreaux is trying to pull guard but Fizzelstiks turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Fizzelstiks is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Boudreaux can't fight it off and eventually Fizzelstiks manages to take the fight to the floor. Boudreaux looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Fizzelstiks (2) vs (0) Boudreaux Boudreaux is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fizzelstiks is aware though and is defending well. Fizzelstiks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boudreaux on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boudreaux is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Boudreaux bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fizzelstiks's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Fizzelstiks (2) vs (2) Boudreaux Fizzelstiks keeping moving, preventing Boudreaux from controlling successfully. Boudreaux looking to sit in guard and control but Fizzelstiks gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Fizzelstiks (4) vs (2) Boudreaux Boudreaux is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Score +3 for taking back: Fizzelstiks (4) vs (10) Boudreaux Boudreaux looking for the choke but no joy. Fizzelstiks defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Boudreaux's arms.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boudreaux is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Fizzelstiks has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Boudreaux has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Fizzelstiks taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Boudreaux doesn't care though - he's delighted!
