Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Bazar Al Jhit (ranked 4512 p4p, 374 weight class) and Sebastian Shot (ranked 2820 p4p, 265 weight class). Al Jhit comes into the arena with What May Safely Be Written blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Bazar Al Jhit! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 5 losses; Sebastian Shot!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Shot moves in looking to clinch but Al Jhit pushes him off.
Al Jhit moves into the clinch successfully.

Al Jhit escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Jhit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shot defends well.
Shot wants to control from the top but Al Jhit keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Shot trying to control but Al Jhit is working from the bottom.
Shot is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Al Jhit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shot wants to control from the top but Al Jhit keeps moving.
Shot drops back looking for a leg! Al Jhit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Al Jhit manages to kick Shot off! Shot jumps back into Al Jhit's guard.
Shot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Al Jhit has his feet on Shot's thighs here. He's pushed Shot off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Shot screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Bazar Al Jhit decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. |
