Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Holt Dennis (ranked 1935 p4p, 200 weight class) and Balbus Michael (ranked 3710 p4p, 321 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Holt Dennis! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Balbus Michael!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Michael tries to keep at a distance but Dennis has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dennis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Michael.
Michael looking for a takedown.
Michael is trying to drag Dennis to the mat but Dennis just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Holt Dennis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Balbus Michael.
Michael jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dennis walks away with a smile on his face. Michael gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dennis clinches.
We've been hearing reports that Dennis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Michael seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Dennis looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Michael puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Michael in particular looking to stall.
Michael is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Michael wants to control from the top but Dennis keeps moving.

Dennis looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Michael is defending well. Dennis quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Michael has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Dennis celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
