Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 6848 p4p, 538 weight class) and Ron Velderman (ranked 19994 p4p, 560 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ron Velderman enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Velderman!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velderman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Snow digs a good hook to Velderman's body.

Snow gets a clinch.
Snow misses with an elbow strike.
A hook to the body from Velderman.
A short body shot lands from Velderman as the two fighters clinch.
Velderman lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Snow backwards.
Snow doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Snow tries to work over Velderman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Snow throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Snow blocks a body shot from Velderman.

Snow pushes Velderman back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The fighters circling - Velderman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Snow has managed to clinch.

Snow lands an elbow inside that Velderman shrugs off.

Velderman struggles to land a body shot inside as Snow controls his hands.
Snow throws a punch but it's blocked by Velderman.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Velderman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Snow pushes off an throws an elbow but Velderman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Snow swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Velderman misses with a hook from the clinch.
Snow fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Velderman works on Snow's body with a couple of short punches.
Velderman lands a hook that snaps the head of Snow backwards.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Snow tries to throw a body punch but Velderman avoids it by throwing Snow back against the ropes.

Snow lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Velderman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Velderman misses with an uppercut. Snow saw that one coming.
Velderman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Snow uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Velderman.

Snow lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Velderman or not.
Snow pushes off an throws an elbow but Velderman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Velderman throws a punch but it's blocked by Snow.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Velderman scores with a shot to the side of Snow's head.
With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Snow just misses with a elbow thrown towards Velderman's brow.
Snow misses with a hook to the ribs.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jon Snow will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Velderman throws a solid leg kick but Snow takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Velderman.

Jon Snow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

I would just about give that final round to Ron Velderman.

Ron Velderman spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
