PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Petersson (ranked 2062 p4p, 212 weight class) and Antonio Nagashima (ranked 2069 p4p, 213 weight class). Nagashima is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by O Rappa- Anjos pra Quem Tem Fe. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

A jab from Nagashima finds it's way through Petersson's defenses. Petersson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nagashima working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Petersson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Nagashima is tightening it up a little... Petersson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Petersson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Petersson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Nagashima!
