Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexandrew Song (ranked 5172 p4p, 467 weight class) and Porter Seeks (ranked 5547 p4p, 486 weight class). Song kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is How soon is now-The Smiths. On his way into the cage it seems that Alexandrew Song has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Alexandrew Song seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexandrew Song! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Porter Seeks! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Song walks into a left hand. Song is looking to take this fight into the clinch. It seemed like Seeks was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Song closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Song remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Seeks struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Check out the look on Song's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Seeks takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Seeks is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Song tries for a kimura but Seeks is defending well. Song has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Seeks tries to buck Song off but Song is having none of it. Song is working Seeks over with some ground and pound from side control. Seeks is looking to regain half guard here but Song keeps moving and retains side control. Seeks is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Song scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Seeks to see if he's OK. Seeks wants to control but Song postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seeks tries to escape but Song is in control. Song taking a breather here. Song working the ground and pound from side control. Seeks is letting Song control him for a moment. Song seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Seeks for as long as he can get away with. Song lands a decent elbow from side control. Song is trying to get an arm triangle but Seeks is defending well. Song is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Seeks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Song moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Song's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Seeks takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Song landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Song lands some shots froms side control. Song controlling the position from side mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Song is trying to get an arm triangle but Seeks is defending well. Song scoring with punches and elbows. Seeks tries to buck Song off but Song is having none of it. Seeks takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Seeks takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Seeks is rocked! Seeks takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Seeks is still in real trouble! Can Song finish him? The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Song scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Seeks is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Song can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexandrew Song! Alexandrew Song is the new middleweight champion! Alexandrew Song bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
