The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Austin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Austin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ford fires out a quick counter leg kick but Austin just manages to avoid it.
Austin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ford.
Austin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Austin lands a head shot.
Austin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ford looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Austin jabs Ford right on the nose. Ford blinks but takes it well.
Austin cracks Ford with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Austin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A slapping body kick lands there for Ford.
Austin throws a jab but it's blocked by Ford.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ford scores with a nice body kick.
Austin takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ford!
It looks like Kyle Austin has been cut.
Ford scores with a decent looking hook.
Austin is rocked!
Ford bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Austin's head backwards.
Austin is still on wobbly legs! Can Ford finish him?
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ford drops Austin with a straight right hand, right on the button! Ford follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Landon Ford!
