Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Ryan (ranked 3025 p4p, 275 weight class) and Marshall Train (ranked 6552 p4p, 436 weight class). Ryan comes into the arena with No Limit blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Ryan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Marshall Train! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Ryan or perhaps it was just good defense by Train, which made it look bad. Ryan looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Train gets the takedown into side control. Ryan is looking to reverse the position. Train swings around for an armbar but Ryan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Train's guard. Ryan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Train is pulling down on Ryan's head to control his posture. Ryan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Train looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ryan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Train wants to sweep but no luck. Train keeping moving, preventing Ryan from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ryan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Train is keeping the position for now. Ryan postures up in Train's guard and throws a big left but Train blocks it. Ryan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Train tries to land a sweep but no joy. Train avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ryan trying to control but Train is working from the bottom. Train is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ryan is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ryan wants to control from the top but Train keeps moving.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ryan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jake Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryan misses with a two punch combination.
Train throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ryan was covering up waiting for the punch and Train finishes the takedown easily into guard. Train is in close to Ryan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ryan wants to sweep here but Train controlling him for the moment. Train scoring with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Train is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Train drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Train jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Train is looking to stand up but Ryan won't let him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Train throws a leg kick but Ryan moved away. Train throws a head kick that misses. We've been informed that Train has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Train throws a right hand that Ryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Ryan also avoids with ease. Ryan looks to land a combination. Train sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ryan is defended easily by Train. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Ryan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Train finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown but Train shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Train tries a quick counter leg kick but Ryan is wise to it. Ryan has a takedown stuffed. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown but Train manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ryan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Train throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ryan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Train is in Ryan's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marshall Train dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Train swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ryan moves in looking to clinch but Train pushes him off. Train manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Ryan on his heels. He'll look to pass Ryan's guard now, I'm sure. Ryan trying to keep a closed guard but Train is proving a slippery customer.
Train controls from within his opponent's guard. Ryan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan working a defensive guard but Train passes into half guard.
Ryan wants to improve his position but Train is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Train wants to work for an arm triangle but Ryan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ryan is looking to improve his position.
Train drops an elbow to the side of Ryan's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Train with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Train is looking for a kimura but Ryan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Train to get the leverage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Train lands with a punch from half guard. Train prevents Ryan from improving his position. Train is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ryan! Ryan is trying to escape the mount.
Train looking to control and managing it successfully. Train is continuing to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Train trying to control but Ryan is having none of it. The referee warns Ryan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Train unloading with bombs! Ryan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Train controlling his opponent. Ryan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Train controlling from the full mount. Train unloading with bombs! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ryan is looking to improve his position but Train isn't that keen on the idea. Train is landing with some decent strikes but Ryan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marshall Train showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ryan tries for a takedown but Train sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A nice side step and Train releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Train leaves Ryan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Train is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ryan's half guard. Ryan won't allow Train to pass to mount. Ryan has a hand on Train's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Train takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Train content just to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Train wants to finish this one by submission but Ryan is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Train. Ryan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Train wants to stand but Ryan is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Train looking for a guillotine from mount but Ryan is having none of it. Ryan is desperately trying to improve his position but Train has a good base and remains in mount. Marshall Train has got the better of the ground game so far. Train raining down hammerfists from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Train is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ryan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ryan is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Train controlling the position easily from mount. Train looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ryan is trying to escape the mount.
Train is standing up, even though he is in mount. Train fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryan moves in looking to clinch but Train pushes him off. Train bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Train tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Train tries to stand but Ryan controls the position and pulls Train into his guard. Ryan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Train works over Ryan with some ground and pound from guard. Train pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ryan is keeping the position for now. Train is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Train controlling from the top position. Train trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ryan's guard. Train stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Train lands a couple of digs. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Train seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jake Ryan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marshall Train is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Train's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that's the end of the fight! Marshall Train comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Train has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
