Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mervin Ruiz (ranked 4218 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Seeking (ranked 4772 p4p, 0 weight class). Seeking has chosen Lord give me a sign as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Seeking swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ruiz throws a combination that misses
and Seeking counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ruiz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Seeking! But no joy.
Seeking is looking to chop away at Ruiz's legs.
Ruiz appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Ruiz scores with a jab.
Seeking throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ruiz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seeking misses with a few strikes there.
Seeking looks to land a right hand but Ruiz moved out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Ruiz on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ruiz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ruiz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Seeking counters with a straight right hand.

Nice shot by Ruiz.
Ruiz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Seeking.
Seeking will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mervin Ruiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Some wild striking there from Seeking.
Seeking lands a really nice looking cross but Ruiz seems unphased.
Seeking misses with a hook
and Ruiz counters with a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Seeking lands a nice shot to the body.
Ruiz lunges at Seeking with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Seeking's hand.
Ruiz just misses with a punch to the body.
Seeking closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Seeking's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ruiz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Seeking scrambles back to his feet.
Ruiz throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Seeking to counter with a crisp jab.
Ruiz stuns Seeking with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Seeking takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ruiz shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Seeking really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruiz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ruiz decides to return to a standing position.
Ruiz throws a lazy head kick
and Seeking counters with a stiff right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ruiz shoots in but Seeking avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A little jabbing left from Seeking on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ruiz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ruiz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mervin Ruiz dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Seeking has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Seeking there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ruiz moves into range and connects with a jab.

and Seeking counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Seeking misses with a series of wild punches.

Seeking is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ruiz.
Seeking is rocked!
Ruiz lands an uppercut, right on the button! Seeking tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mervin Ruiz!
A very excited looking Mervin Ruiz made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Ragnar Seeking stepped up to the mic, saying 'He wass the better man, TODAY! And I want to say thank you for the lesson.'.
