Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lucas Pablo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Von Pong! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pablo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pablo is looking to clinch. Pong throws a big shot that misses. Pablo tries to counter with a takedown but Pong is quick to defend against it. Pong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pablos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Pablo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pong as he jumps to the side. Pablo closes the distance and clinches. Pablo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pong's efforts to push away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pablo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pong after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Pablo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pong wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pong misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pablo.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pablo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pong's efforts to push away. Pong looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Pong working hard to break the clinch. Pong wants to break free but Pablo has control.
Pablo is stalling here.
Pong wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Pong lands a body punch in the clinch. Pong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pablo tries a knee to the head but Pong blocks it.
Pong tries to stall but Pablo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Pablo keeps control of Pong as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pablo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pong cracks Pablo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pong has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pablo to stand back up!
Pablo is rocked! Pablo drops his hands momentarily. Pong doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Pablo staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Pablo doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Von Pong! Von Pong thanked the fans post fight for their support. The defeated Lucas Pablo had this to say: 'Puta!'.
