Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Mordino (ranked 3410 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Liguy (ranked 5694 p4p, 0 weight class). Oleg Liguy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liguy has his takedown stuffed
and Mordino counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Mordino shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Liguy is looking for a sweep. Mordino is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Liguy is trying to control but can't.
Mordino thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Liguy's head.
Liguy is staying active underneath Mordino, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Mordino is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Liguy doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mordino.

Mordino is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Mordino takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Mordino seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Liguy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mordino is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mordino's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Liguy has momentary wrist control but Mordino slips an elbow through the middle.

Liguy shoots in looking for a takedown. Mordino tries to sprawl out of it but Liguy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mordino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Liguy stuffs the takedown attempt from Mordino. Mordino gets slowly back to his feet.
Liguy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mordino attempts a counter takedown but Liguy avoids it well and moves away.
