The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardo lands a lovely overhand right.
Pardo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kidd fails with the takedown
and Pardo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Blake Kidd has been cut.
Pardo lands a body shot.
Pardo moves into the clinch.

Pardo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Kidd tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kidd has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pardo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lucas Pardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blake Kidd.
Kidd is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pardo pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Pardo cracks Kidd with a nice body shot.
Kidd looks winded!
Pardo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pardo unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Kidd! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Pardo is unloading with more strikes now! Kidd drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
