Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Augustus .
Augustus feints and as Joe raises his hands in defense, Augustus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Augustus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Joe is keeping the position for now.
Augustus engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Augustus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Augustus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Joe's guard.
Augustus is trying to control. Joe wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Augustus takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Augustus wants to control but Joe is keeping him busy.

Augustus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Joe is just riding it out for now. Augustus eventually gives up the hold.
Joe is not content to let Augustus control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Joe is in trouble now - Augustus has advanced to mount!
Augustus takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Augustus fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Augustus is landing with some decent strikes but Joe is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Joe is rocked!
Augustus lands a big elbow - Joe is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Joe is forced to tap out!
