Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Antoski (ranked 277 p4p, 37 weight class) and Frog Ribbit (ranked 305 p4p, 40 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Antoski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frog Ribbit! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antoski throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ribbit counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Antoski thinking. Antoski misses with a right hand and Ribbit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Good leg kick by Antoski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Antoski looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Antoski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Antoski backing away here, and Ribbit unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Antoski misses with the combination.
Ribbit wants to counter with a clinch but Antoski pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Antoski throws a poor cross that misses
and Ribbit counters with a thumping low kick. Antoski falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ribbit counters with a series of strikes. Antoski will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ribbit takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Antoski misses with a body shot.
Ribbit wants to counter with a clinch but Antoski pushes him away. Antoski with a jab. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ribbit crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Antoski - the referee stops the clock and Ribbit gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Antoski. Ribbit manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Antoski jabs at Ribbit's body. Antoski cracks a nice hook into Ribbit's ribs. Shawn Antoski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Antoski looks for the body kick but Ribbit saw that one coming. Ribbit lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Antoski throws a push kick but Ribbit slaps the foot to one side. Antoski misses with a body kick. Ribbit doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Antoski lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ribbit avoids the body shot from Antoski.
A nice inside leg kick there by Antoski. That's going to slow Ribbit down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ribbit gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ribbit ducks under a wild hook from Antoski. Ribbit unleashes a big counter combination but Antoski bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Antoski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ribbit on the side of the head. Ribbit has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Antoski throws a shot from downtown. Ribbit moves away and avoids it. Despite the aggression on Ribbit's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Antoski throws a right hand that misses
and Ribbit counters with a nice body kick. Antoski thumps Ribbit with a low kick. Ribbit slips under a jab. Ribbit was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Antoski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Antoski throws the left hand but Ribbit avoids the punch easily. Antoski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ribbit keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ribbit takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ribbit blocks a low kick nicely. Ribbit wants to counter with a clinch but Antoski pushes him away. Nice body punch from Antoski. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shawn Antoski dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ribbit throws out a counter right but Antoski avoids it with no problem. Frog Ribbit is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Antoski scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Antoski lands with an uppercut that bounces Ribbit off the cage and back into range. Antoski throws a sloppy head kick and Ribbit moves out of range easily. Ribbit walks into a jab. Antoski fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ribbit moves out of range of the body kick.

and Ribbit cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Antoski lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Antoski. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Ribbit might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Antoski has got the better of the exchanges. Antoski throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Despite the aggression on Ribbit's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Antoski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ribbit moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ribbit throws out a counter right but Antoski avoids it with no problem. Antoski just misses with a punch to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Antoski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ribbit has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ribbit and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Antoski throws a half hearted mid kick. A telegraphed right hand from Antoski misses the target. Ribbit lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Antoski throws a solid leg kick but Ribbit takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Antoski. Ribbit flicks out a counter leg kick but Antoski steps away. Antoski connects with the punch. Ribbit uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Antoski. Ribbit tries to counter with a clinch but Antoski shakes him off and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Antoski is looking to slow Ribbit down with leg kicks. Antoski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Shawn Antoski is winning the standup battle so far. Antoski connects with a solid leg kick. A jab from Antoski does it's job there. Antoski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Shawn Antoski dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Antoski throws a leg kick that is checked letting Ribbit counter with a right hand. Antoski throws a nice inside leg kick.

Ribbit unleashes a big counter combination but Antoski bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Antoski scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Ribbit ducks under a wild hook from Antoski. Ribbit looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ribbit takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Antoski with a hook. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Antoski, as that shot connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Antoski finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ribbit appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Antoski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Antoski pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Antoski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ribbit appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Antoski getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Antoski misses with the body kick and Ribbit counters by moving into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Shawn Antoski showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Antoski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
