Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johannes Brahms (ranked 452 p4p, 28 weight class) and Santosh Nagasaki (ranked 321 p4p, 19 weight class). Brahms comes to the cage accompanied by 40 : 1 - Sabaton. Nagasaki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Execute Plan: Nuclear Tortoise kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 2, fighting out of New York, Johannes Brahms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santosh Nagasaki!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagasaki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brahms.

Nagasaki lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Brahms doesn't manage to clinch there - Nagasaki circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nagasaki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nagasaki is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Brahms gets his way!
You can see the frustration on Nagasaki's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well Nagasaki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
