Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gustaw Lis (ranked 4677 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emanuel Rodrigez (ranked 2080 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Gustaw Lis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Emanuel Rodrigez! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodrigez forces Lis back against the cage and clinches. Come on Rodrigez - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lis working hard to break the clinch. Lis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rodrigez smiles and moves away.
Rodrigez has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lis is working for takedown but Rodrigez is calmly controlling the position for now. Rodrigez lands a takedown into guard.
Rodrigez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lis looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rodrigez puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Rodrigez prevents Lis from improving his position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rodrigez lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodrigez is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Lis trying to control but Rodrigez postures up.
Rodrigez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Lis wants to get back to his feet.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rodrigez lands a nice short elbow. Rodrigez controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lis wants to get back to full guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodrigez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rodrigez.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lis takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Rodrigez works to advance to full mount. Lis defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Rodrigez controlling his opponent. Let's hope that Rodrigez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Rodrigez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's four minutes gone in the round. I would not like to be Lis right now.
Lis is breathing heavily. Rodrigez is punishing Lis with some ground and pound. Lis is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rodrigez is looking for the choke from the back position but Lis is controlling his hands well. Rodrigez trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Lis doesn't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emanuel Rodrigez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rodrigez connects with a high kick. Rodrigez drives through with a takedown into guard. Rodrigez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lis controls Rodrigez momentarily but Rodrigez frees himself. Rodrigez gets to his feet. Lis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rodrigez connects with an inside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lis instigates a clinch. Lis is looking to control Rodrigez's arms but Rodrigez gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lis has his back to the cage. Lis throws a punch but it's blocked by Rodrigez. Lis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rodrigez is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Rodrigez lands a takedown into guard.
Lis wants to get back to his feet but Rodrigez passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lis is trying to get back to full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rodrigez is taking a breather. Lis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Rodrigez seems to be working for a kimura but Lis defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodrigez wants to work for an arm triangle but Lis is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rodrigez performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Emanuel Rodrigez has got the better of the ground game so far. Rodrigez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lis has managed to free his arm - good work. Rodrigez landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Rodrigez has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Rodrigez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lis has managed to free his arm - good work. Rodrigez postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lis to stand up. Rodrigez instigates a clinch. Rodrigez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Lis wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rodrigez manages to pass to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodrigez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Rodrigez stands up from half guard. Lis misses with a takedown attempt and Rodrigez counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lis! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rodrigez content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Rodrigez passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lis! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emanuel Rodrigez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Rodrigez looking to score a takedown here. Lis is defending well but Rodrigez drives through and ends up in Lis's guard. Rodrigez connects with a couple of short punches. Rodrigez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Rodrigez clinches. Lis tries to pull guard but Rodrigez forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Rodrigez gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Rodrigez stands up from guard. Let's bang! Excellent takedown into side control there by Rodrigez. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rodrigez decides to take the fight back to the feet. Rodrigez rushes Lis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodrigez manages to break the clinch.
Lis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lis wants to get back to his feet but Rodrigez passes into half guard.
Rodrigez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rodrigez is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lis has hold of Rodrigez's hands but Rodrigez slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodrigez performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Rodrigez. Lis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rodrigez is continuing to stall.
And that's the end of the fight! Emanuel Rodrigez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rodrigez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Emanuel Rodrigez! Emanuel Rodrigez spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
