Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gadi Gadi (ranked 4677 p4p, 434 weight class) and Julio Dean (ranked 4947 p4p, 448 weight class). Dean has chosen Zack Fox- Jesus Is The One (I Got Depression) as his entrance music. Gadi Gadi had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Gadi Gadi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gadi Gadi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Julio Dean!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean shoots in looking for a takedown but Gadi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dean's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gadi was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Dean stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gadi.
Gadi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dean was well out of range. Poor timing from Gadi.
Dean has his takedown stuffed
and Gadi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Gadi Gadi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Dean.
Gadi keeps Dean at a distance using the push kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gadi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dean fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gadi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Dean shoots in for a takedown but Gadi shows good takedown defense.
Gadi is looking to counter punch.

and Gadi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No luck for Dean with that takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Gadi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Gadi lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Gadi lands with a right and another and another! Dean is in big trouble! Gadi lands again and this time it's lights out for Dean! A quality knockout there for Gadi.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Gadi Gadi!
Julio Dean was interviewed post fight and said 'Praise Gaben'.
