Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thommy Harinck (ranked 1156 p4p, 147 weight class) and Quincy Fapple (ranked 855 p4p, 110 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harinck misses with a right hand
letting Fapple counter with a right hand.
Fapple throws a predictable looking body shot
and Harinck counters with a nice uppercut.
Fapple closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Harinck takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It seemed like Fapple was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Harinck clobbers Fapple with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Thommy Harinck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Harinck stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
