Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Matvey Pavlov (ranked 1450 p4p, 158 weight class) and Grzegorz Gorski (ranked 4153 p4p, 342 weight class). Pavlov's entrance music is Prokofiev - Dance of the Knights. A fine choice. Gorski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Broken People. Grzegorz Gorski is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 13 losses; Matvey Pavlov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 2 losses; Grzegorz Gorski! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Pavlov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pavlov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Pavlov (4) vs (0) Gorski Gorski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pavlov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pavlov content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Pavlov working away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Gorski is looking for a sweep. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. A lull in the action here as Pavlov stalls from top position. Gorski prevents Pavlov from improving position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee asks Pavlov politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Pavlov prefers to stall for the moment though. Pavlov tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gorski's legs. Gorski has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've been hearing good reports from Pavlov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Gorski is looking to regain half guard here but Pavlov keeps moving and retains side control.

Pavlov trying to control from half guard but Gorski is working away. Pavlov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Pavlov is trying to control the action in half guard but Gorski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Pavlov controlling the pace. Gorski is defending well but eventually Pavlov manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Gorski has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
