Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andriv Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marco Sylva!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva is looking to clinch but Sylva is avoiding it.
Sylva tries to clinch there but Silva circles away.
Sylva rushes Silva and presses him up against the cage.
Sylva breaks the clinch.
Silva tries to clinch
and Sylva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sylva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.
Sylva scores with a head kick.
It looks like Andriv Silva has been cut.
Silva scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Silva clinches but Sylva breaks the clinch
and Sylva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sylva.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva keeps control of Sylva as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Silva tries to break the clinch but Sylva is controlling the position.
Sylva throws an elbow that misses.
Silva misses with an elbow over the top.
With the fighters up against the cage, Silva throws an elbow but misses.
Sylva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sylva counters with a nice body shot.
Silva tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sylva counters by clinching up.
A bit of stalling here from Silva.
Silva creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Sylva is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Sylva won't allow it.
Sylva jumps guard but Silva stands there with Sylva around his waist. Sylva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sylva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silva darts in trying to clinch
letting Sylva counter with a right hand.
Silva takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sylva has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
Sylva breaks the clinch.
Silva throws a lazy head kick
and Sylva counters with a takedown into side control.
Silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sylva off and has taken his back!
Sylva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sylva looks gassed!

Silva has his arm under Sylva's chin here. Game over son! Silva squeezes tightly and Sylva is forced to tap out!
