PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Admir Bosnic (ranked 4507 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 4720 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Smith! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bosnic counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that. Smith wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Bosnic trying to control the action but Smith is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bosnic wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smith, who protects the arm well. Smith wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Bosnic has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Smith's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Smith is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Bosnic!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Admir Bosnic!
