Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Oxford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yadeep Singh!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxford throws out a loose jab but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Oxford throws a right and a left that Singh avoids nicely.
Singh ducks right into an uppercut from Oxford.
Singh avoids the body shot from Oxford.
Singh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Singh checks a leg kick nicely.

Singh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Oxford manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Oxford is working an open guard so Singh takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Singh manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Oxford is fighting off a takedown attempt but Singh is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Oxford to the mat. Oxford regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Singh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Oxford connects with a good right hand that stumbles Singh. Singh circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Singh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Oxford pushes Singh off looking to stand but Singh dives back in and keeps control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alex Oxford.
