The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodgers tries to clinch up.

Rodgers has managed to clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Ferreria - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ferreria.
Ferreria blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rodgers.
Ferreria lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Ferreria tries to break the clinch but Rodgers is controlling the position.
Rodgers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Rodgers throws a punch but it's blocked by Ferreria.
Rodgers gets through Ferreria's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Ferreria.
Ferreria blocks an uppercut.
Ferreria lands with a right to the head.
Ferreria working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Rodgers swings wildly with an uppercut but Ferreria uses good head movement to avoid it.
A bit of stalling here from Ferreria.
Ferreria softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ferreria creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ferreria breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Ferreria moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Rodgers! Ferreria continues to tee off on Rodgers, landing with a left and a right! Ferreria connects with a right hand that leaves Rodgers sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Ferreria!
