Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teo Wolfie (ranked 5109 p4p, 449 weight class) and Diego Sardine (ranked 4224 p4p, 414 weight class). Teo Wolfie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teo Wolfie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Sardine! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolfie connects with a single shot there. Sardine gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wolfie to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wolfie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sardine has his foot on Wolfie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wolfie works his way back into a safe position though. Wolfie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sardine is pulling down on Wolfie's head. It's preventing any offense from Wolfie, at least for the moment. Sardine tries to strike from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sardine looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sardine wants to stand up but Wolfie is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wolfie wants to pass the guard but Sardine is keeping the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sardine rushes Wolfie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wolfie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sardine is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Wolfie fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Wolfie tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teo Wolfie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sardine has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Wolfie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sardine misses with a head kick.
Wolfie stuffs the takedown attempt from Sardine. Sardine gets slowly back to his feet. Wolfie tries to clinch but Sardine is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Wolfie. Sardine tries a head kick but it misses.
Wolfie drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sardine sprawls and moves away. Sardine throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wolfie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sardine is in Wolfie's guard. Sardine wants to control from the top but Wolfie keeps moving. Wolfie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sardine trying to control the position from guard on top but Wolfie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sardine pushing down on Wolfie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Still in half guard, Sardine seems content to control. Wolfie wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfie avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sardine. Sardine controlling the action here. Sardine wants to pass to mount but Wolfie is defending the position. Wolfie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sardine is working away from the top position though. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wolfie gets the takedown into side control. Wolfie is trying to get an arm triangle but Sardine is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action here. Wolfie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sardine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sardine tries to buck Wolfie off but Wolfie is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sardine is trying to control Wolfie's posture but Wolfie avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Diego Sardine will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sardine takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sardine rushes Wolfie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sardine misses with a hook from the clinch. Wolfie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wolfie moves into the clinch. Sardine manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wolfie or perhaps it was just good defense by Sardine, which made it look bad. Sardine tries a quick counter leg kick but Wolfie is wise to it. Still in half guard, Sardine seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sardine is working for an americana but Wolfie has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Sardine was thinking about the submission. Wolfie is trying to keep Sardine in close.
Wolfie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sardine defends well. Sardine gets to his feet. Wolfie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sardine darts in and clinches Wolfie up against the cage. Wolfie being controlled against the cage. Sardine jumps guard and drags Wolfie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sardine looking for a sweep. Not yet Sardine, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sardine working for a triangle but Wolfie defends it easily.
Wolfie has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sardine looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wolfie is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Wolfie won't allow Sardine to get back to his feet. Sardine wants to sweep but no luck. Wolfie trying to control but Sardine is working from the bottom. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sardine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wolfie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sardine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wolfie takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Wolfie tries to bench press Sardine off him but Sardine keeps the position. Wolfie is trying to control Sardine's posture but Sardine avoids it. Wolfie is not content to let Sardine control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sardine is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Wolfie's shoulder. That is not cool. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Sardine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Wolfie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sardine on his heels. He'll look to pass Sardine's guard now, I'm sure. Sardine keeping moving, preventing Wolfie from controlling successfully. Wolfie looking to sit in guard and control but Sardine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Wolfie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Sardine engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Wolfie on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wolfie tries to get out of the position. Sardine trying to control but Wolfie is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sardine has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wolfie fails in his attempt to clinch. Sardine moves in looking to clinch but Wolfie pushes him off. Sardine keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sardine gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Sardine misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sardine keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teo Wolfie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wolfie connects with a single shot there. Teo Wolfie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sardine closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sardine wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wolfie keeps working. Sardine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sardine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sardine tries to stand but Wolfie is controlling his head. A lull in the action here. Wolfie stops Sardine from passing to mount. Teo Wolfie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Diego Sardine is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wolfie struggling a bit here.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Teo Wolfie. I think Sardine has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
