Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Expendable Crewman V (ranked 1274 p4p, 145 weight class) and Brutus Leagatius (ranked 1770 p4p, 187 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crewman V might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Star Trek. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brutus Leagatius!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Leagatius.
Crewman V lands with a nice body punch.
Crewman V explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Expendable Crewman V seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crewman V connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Crewman V throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leagatius stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Crewman V lands a body shot.
Crewman V scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Leagatius throws an off balance right hand
and Crewman V counters with a straight right hand.
Leagatius walks into a jab.
It looks like Brutus Leagatius has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crewman V works Leagatius's body with a nice hook.
Crewman V throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Crewman V fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Leagatius looks winded!
Crewman V ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Crewman V ducks under a wild hook from Leagatius.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crewman V uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leagatius.
Crewman V cracks Leagatius with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Leagatius steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Crewman V.
A combination from Crewman V does no damage.
A little jabbing left from Leagatius on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Crewman V misses with the combination.
Crewman V paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Leagatius takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Crewman V ducks under a wild hook from Leagatius.
Crewman V smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Crewman V digs a good hook to Leagatius's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Leagatius misses with an uppercut. Crewman V saw that one coming.
Crewman V misses with a hook
and Leagatius counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Crewman V has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leagatius steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Crewman V. That one must have hurt.
Crewman V lands an overhand right.
Leagatius looks to land a left hand but Crewman V moved out of range nicely.
Crewman V is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Crewman V catches Leagatius with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Crewman V scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Crewman V connects with a leg kick. Leagatius looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Crewman V lands a leg kick that knocks Leagatius off balance momentarily.

Leagatius swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

An inside leg kick from Crewman V misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Leagatius! But no joy.
Crewman V pivots, looking for a leg kick but Leagatius is out of range and Crewman V settles back down.

enabling Leagatius to counter with a crisp jab.
Leagatius moves away from the strike by Crewman V.
Leagatius looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Oooooh!!! Crewman V has knocked Leagatius down with a huge combo! Crewman V steps away and waves a wobbly Leagatius back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Leagatius is rocked!
Crewman V connects with a leg kick. Leagatius looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Leagatius is still on wobbly legs! Can Crewman V finish him?
Leagatius gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Crewman V gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Leagatius is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Expendable Crewman V!
