9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Coles! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punchy jabbing away but nothing is landing. Coles scores with a nice body kick.
Coles lands with a shot to the body. Punchy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Coles works the jab nicely. Coles throws a body punch but Punchy moves out of range. Punchy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. That's one minute gone in the round. Punchy misses with a wild body shot. Coles fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Punchy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Punchy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Coles sees it coming and avoids it easily. A swing and a miss from Punchy. Coles misses with a body kick. A jab from Coles misses. Punchy throws a big counter combination but Coles scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Punchy lands with a right hand. Dennis Coles is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Coles connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Punchy's hands. Punchy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Coles bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A solid body kick from Coles. Punchy is breathing heavily. Punchy goes for a double leg but Coles avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Coles continues to drive forward. This has been an exciting period of action! Coles bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Punchy's head. Coles cracks Punchy with an uppercut from hell and Punchy crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Coles's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
It looks like Trent Punchy has been cut. Punchy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Coles defends it easily. Coles throwing strikes from guard but Punchy blocks nicely. Coles looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Coles wants to control from the top but Punchy keeps moving. Coles slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Punchy is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Coles pushes down on Punchy's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Punchy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Coles defends well. Coles is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Punchy swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Horrible takedown attempt by Punchy or perhaps it was just good defense by Coles, which made it look bad. Coles throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Punchy seems to have got his legs back now. Coles looks to score with a jab to the body but Punchy is just out of range. A big right from Coles misses. Coles's corner calls for a 1-2. Coles obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Coles throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Coles steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Punchy. Coles throws a low kick but it's checked well by Punchy. Punchy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Coles lands with a nice body punch. A decent looking cross lands there for Coles. Coles works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Coles fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Punchy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coles but Coles pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Punchy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Punchy throws a series of punches but Coles moves out of range. Coles tries to clinch but Punchy is having none of it. Punchy ducks right into an uppercut from Coles. Coles bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Punchy! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Coles creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Punchy's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Punchy drops to his knees and Coles pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
