Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seth Slithers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Cathail Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slithers avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Slithers changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Murphy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Slithers.
Murphy stuffs the takedown.
Slithers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Murphy.
Murphy scores with a jab to the jaw.


It looks like Seth Slithers has been cut.
Murphy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Murphy wants it to stay on the feet.
A good leg kick by Murphy.
Slithers is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Slithers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Murphy to score with a decent uppercut.
Murphy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Slithers fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seth Slithers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Murphy throws a right hand that Slithers ducks under and follows up with a left that Slithers also avoids with ease.
Slithers is looking to counter with a body kick.

Murphy clinches up with Slithers and pushes him back against the cage.

Murphy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Slithers closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Murphy did well to prevent Slithers getting side control.
Murphy wants to control but Slithers is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Slithers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Murphy pushes Slithers off and gets back to his feet.

Murphy looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Slithers pushes a forearm under Murphy's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Murphy is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
