Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Datu Rizalia (ranked 806 p4p, 106 weight class) and Phil Coleman (ranked 264 p4p, 38 weight class). Rizalia comes into the arena with Ballad of a dead soulja by tupac blaring out of the sound system. Phil Coleman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Datu Rizalia's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Coleman changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Coleman. That snapped Rizalia's head back.

Coleman will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rizalia up against the cage.

Coleman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rizalia walks away with a smile on his face. Coleman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rizalia throws a punch but it's blocked by Coleman.

Rizalia breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rizalia lands with an uppercut that bounces Coleman off the cage and back into range.

It looked like Rizalia wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Coleman tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

and Coleman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Datu Rizalia is winning the standup battle so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rizalia tries to close the distance and clinch up but Coleman swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Coleman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Coleman cracks Rizalia with a good jab.
Rizalia scores with a kick to the midsection.
Rizalia throws a lazy uppercut
and Coleman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nice shot lands for Coleman.


Rizalia is rocked!

Coleman shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Rizalia is on queer street and Coleman is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Phil Coleman!
A pretty intense looking Phil Coleman took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
