Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Smith (ranked 4785 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arriorus Adee (ranked 5174 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith blocks a head kick by Adee.

Smith pushes Adee up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee calls for Adee to work.
Adee managing to block the knees to the body from Smith.
Smith trying to land knees to the body.
Adee controlling the action here for a moment.
Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Adee won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Adee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smith circles away.
Smith avoids the head kick by Adee.

Smith manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Adee on his heels. He'll look to pass Adee's guard now, I'm sure.
Adee wants to get back to his feet but Smith passes into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adee can do anything to dispel that myth.
Adee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Smith is controlling the pace.
Adee wants to get back to his feet.
Adee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smith is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Adee is trying to stand.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Smith connects with a nice short shot to Adee's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Smith is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Smith is thwarting Adee's attempts to control the position.

Smith tries to pass the half guard into mount. Adee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Adee misses with a takedown attempt - Smith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Smith defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Adee.
DeAndre Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arriorus Adee.

Adee fails to land with a series of punches.
Adee dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Smith. That did some damage!
Adee keeps the fight on the outside.
Adee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Smith leaves Adee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Adee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smith eats them both and turns towards Adee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Adee avoids the body shot from Smith.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Adee lands a nice shot to the body.

Adee moves into the clinch successfully.
Adee on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Arriorus Adee will probably get the nod.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.
Adee shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Adee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And Smith counters with a quick kick to the body but Adee blocks it.

Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into Adee's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith is in close to Adee's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Smith is stalling in the full guard.
Adee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adee throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Adee is looking for a triangle but Smith pushes his legs off easily.
Smith works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Adee wants to control but Smith is keeping busy.
Adee wants to get back to full guard but Smith has passed into side control.
Smith content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Smith advances to mount.

Adee tries to hold on but Smith pushes him away.
Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Adee is trying desperately to improve position.

Adee wants to control but Smith is having none of it.
Smith controlling from mount.
Smith lands a couple of good shots and Adee has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Adee trying to control the position but Smith manages to sink in the hooks.
Adee covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Smith controlling the positon.
Adee wants to get back to his feet.

Smith not allowing Adee to control his hands.

Smith is working for a rear naked choke. Adee is not defending it well and Smith has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Adee refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Adee's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
