The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wonderland tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kijowsky swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kijowsky rushes Wonderland and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kijowsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wonderland tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kijowsky swivels and escapes. Kijowsky closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wonderland circles away. Kijowsky tries to shoot in for a takedown. Wonderland tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kijowsky is defended easily by Wonderland. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wonderland is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Wonderland jumps guard but Kijowsky stands there with Wonderland around his waist. Wonderland gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kijowsky thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Wonderland is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kijowsky keeping moving, preventing Wonderland from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wonderland wants to stand but Kijowsky has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to World Wonderland. I think Kijowsky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
