The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takenaka connects with a looping right hand.
Takenaka stalks Mettinen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mettinen's face. Mettinen staggers backwards, shaken.
Takenaka uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mettinen has time to react.
Nice body punch from Takenaka.
Mettinen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mettinen attempts a counter takedown but Takenaka avoids it well and moves away.
Takenaka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mettinen doesn't seem bothered though.
Takenaka scores with a one two! Mettinen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Takenaka connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Takenaka connects with a stiff jab that staggers Mettinen - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
