Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ay Blyad (ranked 318 p4p, 41 weight class) and Tan Zan (ranked 550 p4p, 75 weight class). Tan Zan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ay Blyad! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tan Zan! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blyad misses with an uppercut. Blyad thuds his right hand into Zan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Zan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Blyad definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Blyad swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It seemed like Zan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A big right from Blyad misses. Blyad moves into the clinch successfully.
Zan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Zan has had enough of the clinch but Blyad keeps him there for the moment. Blyad tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Blyad lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Zan backwards. Zan is trying to push Blyad away but Blyad has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Zan blocks a body shot from Blyad. Blyad jumps guard but Zan turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blyad goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Blyad ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Blyad no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Zan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Blyad is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Blyad thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Zan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Blyad is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zan defends well. Zan postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zan wanted to stand there but Blyad had control of the position. Blyad is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Zan is posturing up here but Blyad has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Zan tries to roll out but it's too tight and Zan has to tap! Slick submission there by Blyad!
