17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emilio Rojas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akio Kurosaki! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Rojas. Those never looked like landing. Rojas pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rojas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kurosaki on the side of the head. Rojas throws a shot to the body.
We've been told by Rojas's head coaches at Big Bear Fight Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kurosaki getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Kurosaki delivers a nice body kick. Kurosaki slips a straight right by Rojas. Decent striking displayed by Rojas there. Rojas sizes up Kurosaki with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kurosaki takes one to the side of the head.

and Kurosaki cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rojas is looking to slow Kurosaki down with leg kicks. Kurosaki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rojas under the eye. Kurosaki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rojas.
Rojas attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Despite the aggression on Kurosaki's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Kurosaki swings for the body but Rojas moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rojas scores with a nice strike. Emilio Rojas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurosaki lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Rojas moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kurosaki drops his hands momentarily and Rojas takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Rojas throws a big shot that misses. Rojas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Rojas throws a looping overhand right but Kurosaki ducks down to avoid it. Kurosaki defending well as Rojas loads up on a big left hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rojas cracks the inside of Kurosaki's front leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Good standup being displayed there by Rojas as he connects with a hook. Kurosaki lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Emilio Rojas has been cut. Rojas digs a good body shot into Kurosaki's ribs. Rojas feints a jab promting Kurosaki to slip. Rojas then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kurosaki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Kurosaki takes a swing at Rojas's ribcage but misses. Kurosaki walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Rojas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rojas connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kurosaki gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Nice defenses there by Kurosaki. Rojas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kurosaki follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Rojas missing with a left hand there. Kurosaki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kurosaki throws a big counter head kick but Rojas avoids it with no problem. Rojas moves out of range of the body kick. Rojas misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rojas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Rojas misses with a series of wild punches.

Kurosaki only half commits to the counter leg kick. Rojas moves out of range of the strikes. Kurosaki lands a nice hook to Rojas's body. Rojas takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Rojas connects with an inside leg kick. Rojas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kurosaki is able to avoid easily. Kurosaki slips a straight right by Rojas. Rojas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kurosaki. Rojas tried to counter with a leg kick but Kurosaki avoided it. Rojas throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Kurosaki misses with a low kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice jab there from Rojas. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rojas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rojas throws a shot from downtown. Kurosaki moves away and avoids it. Kurosaki let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Rojas defending well as Kurosaki loads up on a big left hand. An attempted straight right counter from Rojas misses the target. Rojas looks to throw the jab but Kurosaki is out of range. Rojas scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Rojas throws a solid leg kick but Kurosaki takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rojas. Kurosaki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kurosaki loads up on a big right hand but Rojas slips the punch. Rojas tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Rojas is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Kurosaki misses with a low kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rojas throws a jab but it's blocked by Kurosaki. Rojas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rojas scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Rojas loads up on a big right hand but Kurosaki slips the punch. Kurosaki counters with a body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Emilio Rojas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Emilio Rojas's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kurosaki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rojas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kurosaki scrambles back to his feet. Rojas tries to land a leg kick but Kurosaki saw it coming and moves away.

Rojas takes a step back to recover. Kurosaki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Kurosaki misses with a kick to the body.

and Kurosaki counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kurosaki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rojas. Emilio Rojas is winning the standup battle so far. Kurosaki throws a sloppy head kick and Rojas moves out of range easily. Kurosaki keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rojas. Rojas throws a good cross that connects.

Rojas is rocked! Kurosaki thumps Rojas with a low kick. Oh Rojas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A jab from Rojas misses. Kurosaki digs a good hook to Rojas's body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Some wild striking there from Rojas.
Rojas seems to have got his legs back now. Rojas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kurosaki counters with a slapping leg kick. Rojas checks a low kick from Kurosaki. Rojas is looking for a counter combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki pushes Rojas away with a front kick. Rojas will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Rojas takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kurosaki throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Kurosaki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Rojas throws out a loose jab but Kurosaki uses good head movement to avoid it. Kurosaki looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kurosaki works Rojas's body with a nice hook. Kurosaki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Rojas rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kurosaki counters with a nice body kick. Kurosaki digs a good body shot into Rojas's ribs. Both fighters circling a little - Kurosaki finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kurosaki lands a body shot.
Kurosaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rojas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kurosaki thinks about the counter body kick. Rojas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kurosaki counters with a left to the body. Kurosaki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kurosaki. Rojas swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Rojas moves out of range of the body kick. As Kurosaki looks to move away, Rojas throws a big counter combo but Kurosaki just gets out of the way. Kurosaki fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Kurosaki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rojas swings for the body but Kurosaki moves out of range.
Kurosaki takes a shot right to the bread basket. Kurosaki moves forwards but Rojas connects with a nice, crisp jab. Rojas lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kurosaki connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Kurosaki counters with a huge left! Rojas is in big trouble! He's backing up but Kurosaki isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Rojas from any more damage. A dominating finish by Kurosaki!
